The Company
In 2010, one of the founders of Evergreen Medical and Diagnostic Ctr. worked as a cruise ship doctor. She belonged to a family of seafarers, and had undergone the required medical examinations prior to joining her assigned vessel. Working with various crew members and passengers, she had a better understanding of the common medical concerns and the importance of health and wellness at sea.

Partnering with a U.S.-based Filipino-American doctor who provides primary care in the state of Washington, also known as the Evergreen state, Evergreen Medical and Diagnostic Ctr., Inc. was born. EMDC aims to provide excellent medical services to suit the current needs of seafarers and OFWs.

History:
  • Nov. 4, 2013 : Established as a corporation under SEC registration number CS201321252
  • Mar. 1, 2014 : DOH Accreditation as a Medical Facility for Overseas Workers and Seafarers, Accreditation No. 13-064-14-MF-2
  • Mar. 28, 2014: DOH Accreditation for Drug Testing Laboratory, Accreditation No. 13-1069-14-PFSS-1
  • Aug. 16, 2014: Certification of Quality Standards System by Philippine Council on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (PCAHO); Certificate No. S-238-8-16-14
  • Sept. 2, 2014: Recognized by POEA, MARINA, TESDA, PRC, Phil. Retirement Authority; Drug testing laboratory by LTO, Dangerous Drug Board and PNP
